Building stronger communities together. We have supported a number of CSR activities in collaboration with Zurich Insurance employees, along with their valued partners. This collective action is creating positive impact in local communities. Here are some amazing initiatives taking place in #ZurichHongKong 📚 Children explored storytelling in a relaxed setting with therapy dogs and volunteers, building emotional resilience and confidence. 👕 Volunteers gave pre-loved clothing a second life by sorting and repurposing garments to reduce textile waste. 📝 Teams crafted Braille cards to support visually impaired children and raise awareness around accessibility. 🧼 Recycled hotel soap was turned into handmade gifts for underprivileged groups. 🌟 The transformation journey we started together is stepping into a brand-new phase. Since 2018, the Ministry of National Education in Türkiye, Zurich Insurance Türkiye, and Türk Eğitim Derneği - with the support of the Z Zurich Foundation - have built sustainable collaborations across sectors through the ‘Our Teachers: Insurance of Education’ program. With 50 mentor teachers leading the way, our #SocialImpact is becoming stronger and more sustainable every day. In August our mentor teachers came together for the #SocialEntrepreneurshipForChildren program to inspire the next generation to see the world differently, create bold solutions, and act with courage. Books, bicycles, and belief - Balika Shivir Centers are rewriting futures. In remote villages across India, girls are reconnecting with education through Accelerated Learning Centers that make learning engaging. To support consistent access to education, the girls are equipped with school bags, books, solar lamps, and bicycles - practical tools that remove everyday barriers to learning. Social-emotional learning sessions and parent-teacher meetings build confidence and support at home. From storytelling and art to virtual sessions with Zurich Insurance volunteers, learning goes beyond textbooks - and opens up the world. When learning is a joy, the possibilities become endless. This initiative is made possible through a collaboration between Plan_India and the Z Zurich Foundation. #EnablingSocialEquity

And I started to feel happier.”- Henrique, 14 That’s how a student describes the impact of Por ti, a mental wellbeing program transforming secondary school classrooms across Portugal. Launched in 2022, Por ti has changed the lives of over 76,000 students, 2,000 families, and 7,000 professionals - helping young people regulate emotions, build resilience, and feel supported. Clinical psychologist Pedro Palrão shares, "This feeling of being heard, validated and realizing that it’s possible to pause, reflect, and accept that things might not be okay, but it’s possible to do something to help make things better.” Together with EPIS- Empresários pela Inclusão Social, Zurich Insurance Portugal and Universidade de Coimbra, we are bringing mental wellbeing into everyday learning. 🌍 Adaptation or mitigation - what’s the difference, and why does it matter? 🎥 Watch our video to explore how both approaches respond to the impacts of a changing climate and why adaptation is key to building climate resilience. Mitigation focuses on reducing emissions to slow climate change. Adaptation helps people respond to its effects - like floods, fires, and extreme heat - which are already happening. We need both. While we address climate change through mitigation, we must also adapt to the changes affecting and disrupting people's lives. At the Z Zurich Foundation, we work with communities to adapt and build resilience. This means supporting people and co-creating solutions that fit their realities and needs. “Education is that one thing, once a girl receives it, there is no dream she cannot chase.” - Soni Shelan In Hazaribagh, India, one girl's story is inspiring many more. After Soni's education was cut short, she refused to give up. Through the Balika Shivir program, a collaboration between Plan_India and Z Zurich Foundation, she returned to her studies and began building a future on her own terms. Today, she’s excelling academically, mentoring others, and proving what’s possible when girls are given the opportunity to learn. Her journey is one of thousands. Across India, girls are reclaiming their education, achieving financial independence, and becoming powerful voices in their communities. What does climate resilience look like in everyday life?   In Izmir, Türkiye, it looks like women tending gardens, families helping to keep their streets clean, and neighbors coming together to plan for a safer future.   The Climate Resilience for Communities project works hand in hand with residents of Imariye and Pazaryeri to understand their needs, co-create solutions, and build climate resilience that lasts.   From flood preparedness workshops to community gardens with rainwater harvesting, this project centers climate action on people’s lived experiences, priorities, and leadership.   This initiative is part of our Urban Climate Resilience Program, a global effort to support communities in driving locally led solutions.   ⬇️ Swipe through for on-the-ground snapshots to see how resilience grows through shared purpose, everyday action, and community care.   Implemented in Izmir by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and ICLEI with support from #ZurichSigorta and Z Zurich Foundation.
